Catalyst’s macOS binaries, shared libraries, and frameworks are digitally signed with Magister, LLC’s Apple Developer ID distribution certificates. Each macOS release is notarized through Apple’s official security process before publication.
These signatures identify Magister, LLC as the publisher. They are separate from your Catalyst license: the framework does not use your license to track activity or perform network authentication.

FROM DOWNLOAD TO FIRST PROGRAM
Start with the SDK instructions, then follow an example in the guide.
Read the setup guideThis release targets macOS on arm64. Check distribution.json in the archive for the minimum macOS version.
Use Xcode or Apple’s Command Line Tools with C++23 support. CMake projects require CMake 3.24 or newer; GPU development also requires Xcode’s Metal Toolchain.
Follow the setup guide to configure your environment and CMake targets, then compile your first Cosmic program or use Catalyst from standard C++.
Linux distributions for x86-64 and ARM64 are planned. Each supported platform will have its own download.
